Capturing those un-choreographed (and sometimes chaotic) moments

Photography has always been a big part of my life. In fact, as far back as I can remember, I’ve always had a trusty camera at hand so that I could catch and keep those fleeting seconds of real life – completely un-choreographed moments that make me smile, laugh out loud or bring tears to my eyes.

Becoming a mum to Ollie and Harry only enhanced this passion to document the first steps, gappy toothless grins, birthdays and all the chaotic family every day scenes in between.

After all, we all know how quickly these moments can pass by and how easily they can be forgotten. Add our pawfect pooch Luna to the mix and most family photos now consist of blowy Brighton beach walks and snuggles on the sofa underneath heaps of blankets. Those perfect ‘nothing special’ days that are the essence of family life.

For me, it’s so important to capture the true personality of the person or people I’m photographing. That’s why I’ll never ask clients – children or adults, to pose or sit still for the camera. Instead I prefer a more natural approach, where we all have fun together and you forget I’m taking photographs!

My style seems to be a hit with numerous nurseries throughout Sussex, as I’m regularly invited back to take individual photos of their students. As you would expect, this means I’m fully insured and have a CRB certificate, so you can rest assured that you and your family are in safe hands.

Please feel free to make yourself at home and check out my recent wedding, family, maternity and newborn galleries.
